Weft
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Weft ("Weft," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Weft app ("the App"). By using Weft, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect the email address you use to sign up. Your password is handled securely by our authentication provider and is not stored in readable form. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a basic account identifier from that provider.
The content you create
Weft stores the information you choose to track — your icons, entries, events, and notes, along with any details you add to them. Because Weft lets you track any part of your life, this may include personal or sensitive information you choose to log, such as health, mood, or cycle details. This content is yours, and we use it only to provide the App to you.
Calendar data (only if you connect a calendar)
If you choose to connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, Weft reads your existing calendar events so it can display them alongside your tracking. This connection is read-only — Weft does not create, change, or delete anything in your Google or Apple calendars. You can disconnect at any time.
Limited technical information
We may collect basic technical and diagnostic information needed to operate the App and fix problems, such as error logs and general device information.
How we use your information
Provide, maintain, and sync your account and your tracked data;
Respond to your support requests;
Diagnose problems and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
How your information is stored and protected
Your data is stored using Supabase, our backend and database provider. It is encrypted in transit (between your device and our servers) and at rest (on the servers where it is stored). Weft is not end-to-end encrypted — our service provider stores your data in a form that can be processed in order to provide the App.
Who we share information with
Service providers who help us run the App, such as Supabase (data storage and authentication), Apple and Google (for sign-in), and Apple/RevenueCat (for subscription billing)
Legal authorities, where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Health and other sensitive information
You may choose to log health-related or other sensitive information in Weft. We treat this as your private content: we do not sell it, and we do not share it except as described above. Please note that Weft is a personal tracking tool, not a healthcare provider — your data is not covered by HIPAA, and Weft does not provide medical advice.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App. When you do, your account and your tracked data are removed.
Children
Weft is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, and delete your data directly in the App. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access or delete your personal information. To exercise these, contact us at [email protected].
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the App.
